Bentonite Clay Grease
DISCRIPTION
Product Data
Bentonite greases are non-soap, inorganic clay thickened greases. These are non-melt greases and are therefore typically used in harsh industrial applications requiring lubrication under very high temperatures. These greases are typically used in plain & roller bearings operating at temperatures at which conventional soap thickened greases cannot work. These greases have a durable film & good pumpability. These greases are suitable for applications with an operating temperature range of -10 to +200 0C under routine service.
Applications
- Bearings in Sugar Mills operating at very high temperatures
- Plastic injection moulding
Main Benefits
- Excellent in very high temperature applications where conventional soap greases cannot be used
- Non-melt
- Superior boundary film strength leading to reduction in maintenance costs and downtime
- Good resistance to water washout
- Superior Roll & Shear stability
- Good EP properties especially when combined with MOLY
- Superior protection against rust and corrosion
